Types of Mediation: Relationships

Mediation is an effective process for addressing issues in ongoing relationships. It differs from therapy in a variety of ways, and can be a valuable addition to therapy in working on specific agreements. Use of negotiation in our most important relationships is an option we often overlook. Learning negotiation skills in relationships increases the potential for addressing conflicts with family members, friends and/or colleagues.
